Lewes, Delaware (“The First Town in the First State”) St. Peter's Art Show has been a summertime highlight at the Delaware beaches since 1966. The show occurs on the first Saturday of July each year, drawing 140 fine artists and fine craftspeople from the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. Wonderful paintings and photographs, exquisite jewelry, masterful carvings, beautiful ceramics and mixed media creations and much more can be found the in the exhibitors’ booths that surround St. Peter’s Square. The artists and craftspeople also donate works to the show’s raffle and silent auction in order to raise even more funds for deserving charities!
All this set in Lewes’s quaint downtown, with an array of specialty shops and restaurants to boot! The event is free and open to the public, so come rain, come shine, come one, come all: It’s a must-attend event for the Cape region!
